Without going into detail with required tools, hydraulic presses, spring compressors, and lifts....
You may be beter off paying someone to do it.
Or spend $60,000 for the tools.
Lowering spring kits have higher spring rates per inch of travel. You'll hate the ride and you'll need matched struts to control the stiffer bouncy springs. Your car will need aftermarket camber plates on top of the strut towers to hopefully alligning the mess once it's done. You'll need a strut tower brace to keep the flimsy body from flexing because of the higher spring rates. I'll guaranty you'll never do this again as you're opening a big can of worms.
If you want to upgrade your suspension you alone can toss on a set of heavier anti-roll bars that will keep the car flatter in corners without sacrificing ride quality.
