How do I find the time it will take to change a certain temperature?

Radioactive decay of granite and other rocks in the earth's interior provides enough energy to keep the interior molten, heat lava, and provide warmth to natural hot springs. This is due to the average release of about 0.03 J per kilogram each year. How many years are required for a chunk of thermally insulated granite to increase 500 deg. C in temperature (assume the specific heat of granite is 800 J/kg. deg.C)?How do I find the time it will take to change a certain temperature?
Temp change = energy / specific heat = energy/(mass*time) * time / specific heat

so time = temp change * specific heat / (energy/(mass*time))How do I find the time it will take to change a certain temperature?
If you can find the time to watch a rock heat itself, you'll never find the time to do your homework!
