How to change aperature and shutter seed?

i have an Olimpus camra that is cute and pink and resently in class we learned the relationship between iso aperature and shutter speed. but when i went home and was lookig how to change them i only found how to change the iso. i would ask my teacher but we are on spring brake. i also need to be able to take really good pictures for this week.How to change aperature and shutter seed?
Because your camera is cute and pink you may not be able to change your shutter speed and aperture. Many point and shoots do not allow you to have any manual control over the camera. Look for a mode that says M or AV. If you have these you will be able to change them manually. Read your manual for more info.How to change aperature and shutter seed?
I'm honestly getting annoyed with the way that high schools are having more and more photography classes...taught by teachers that know nothing about actual cameras. I feel like all these kids in photography classes think they are professional photographers but they know nothing about it...anyone else annoyed?

You need English lessons, not photography lessons.

Chances are your camera will automatically set shutter speed for the aperture you have set. Most 'ordinary' cameras are like this and its not until you get really serious (usually expensive) cameras that you totally control exposure.
