i have a sofa and the boards and springs under the cushions have broken. so i would like to convert it into a sleeper sofa. i wanted to know if it was posssible and if it is where can i go to start this project and how would u go about it?Is it possible to change a sofa into a sleeper?
I would like to suggest that you are barking at the moon. Sleeper beds are built from the ground up to be made into a sleeper, a regular sofa is missing tons of intricate special made hardware, and custom fitted upholstery, as well.
