What if all the people in China moved to Alice Springs, Australia?

Wouldn't that be a HUGE bump up of Australia's modest population?

All these Chinese bushmen singing Waltzing Matilda carrying swags and eating sheep and riding the lights of Cobb %26amp; Co.

How would that change the middle of the continent? What if all the people in China moved to Alice Springs, Australia?
there would be a lot of dead Chinese people there

not enough water/food/accommodationWhat if all the people in China moved to Alice Springs, Australia?
You just might have a future writing fiction.
I hope they bring water with them
that actually did happen in the goldrush (well not the entire population on China, but a hell of a lot of Chinese men) came to Victoria and NSW.

they were discriminated against very harshly by the Australians because of their hard word ethic and because they sent their gold back to their families in China.

If that were to happen these days i think their would be major food and water shortages throughout Australia, our economy just wouldn't cope.
well, id probably move to China seeing as there would be no room left for anyone else here in Australia.

That's a hell of a big country to be left all alone. hey, maybe i could become emperor!! Cool....
It would being to smell very bad after ten days or so as most of them would begin to die of thirst after a day or two. Then dysentery, possibly cholera and starvation would finish of most of the survivors.
