How hard is it to change rear spring shackles on a 1998 ford f-150?

Very easy, couple wrenches and you're good to go.How hard is it to change rear spring shackles on a 1998 ford f-150?
It's very simple. Just make sure you jack the rear up enough so that the tension in the spring is gone. Make sure you're jacking it up somewhere along the frame, as opposed to the axle. Jacking from the axle will not relieve the leaf spring tension. Also make sure you use jackstands to minimize the risk of the truck falling on top of you and damaging you or your truck. Some big beef wrenches will do the trick to remove the two 2 bolts holding each shackle in place. Once you install your new lift or lowering shackles, make sure you have a torque wrench handy so you don't over torque the shackles and bend them.
