Will my financial aid change??

i am in a community college right now.. my financial aid cover all my tuition and other expenses, but i am planning to transfer to a 4yr University (UNT) this coming Spring (2009).. currently my EFC is around 2200.. i am just wondering, will my financial aid package change for the spring semester? if it does change, approximatly how much grant will i get???

Will my financial aid change??
Your federal aid (Pell, stafford loans, work study) will not change from the fall 08 to the spring 09. However, if you are not receiving loans now, you need to be sure they offer you one when you get there. If you are receiving loans, you will just get the same disbursement you got in the spring, unless you had them reduce it in the fall when you started. Hope that's clear.

Good luckWill my financial aid change??
You need to contact the new university financial aid office. If you have federal funding there is paperwork that needs to be completed to transfer your funding from one college to another. Have you applied for financial aid at the new university? They may have private funding/grants that you are eligible for. Also make sure you file your FAFSA as close to Jan 1st as possible. If there has been a change in your circumstances and your finances along with the change in schools, you may be able to file a Change of Income form to have your EFC revised.
