What is nomenclature?

i have an AS physics coursework and it says in the analysis i have to u nomenclature terminology, what is that??

in addition, if u can please give me some tips on how to make my analysis as perfect as possible, and the points i should write in it. my cursework is about hw spring constants change with springs in series and in parallel.

if ur not bothered, just please answer my nomenclature question.

cheersWhat is nomenclature?
The definition of nomenclature is: a set or system of names or terms, as those used in a particular science or art, by an individual or community, etc. So here we are to use physics related language to discuss the behavior of springs.

In ay case, Wikipedia has an excellent discussion on spring constants in series and in parallel. Their derivations are even given: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hooke%27s_lWhat is nomenclature?
nomenclature??? Are you talking about dimensional analysis? Dimensional analysis allows you to see if your answer could be right. If your problem involves F=ma then the dimensions on both sides should be mass x distance over time squared. This is more important with more complicated calculations. You check the dimensions by leaving the numbers out and seeing if the dimensions work out to be equal.
nameing of an atom.they are helpefull of identity of it is metal or non metal
