k i got a 1994 lincoln continental for free but the front suspension does not riase my anty who owned the car before me change the air bags about 3 times becase they kept going and i don't want to do the same thing don't got the cash. has anyone ever done this to there lincoln if so about how much did it cost just for parts because i'll be doing the work for my self.Can you change the front air bag suspension on a 1994 lincoln Continental to just plan spring?

you can not change the air bags because the suspension of that particulat car was set up for air ride...if you change the suspension you will also change all of the stock alignment angles that the car was designed for and you'll end up chewing up tires....

You sure can. I have done three. There is a coil spring conversion kit made (I think by Monroe). I have bought them through NAPA. Seem to remember cost about 3-4 hundred bucks about 6 years ago.

Yes, Lincoln srut or strutmasters make kits, But if you want to go low buck go to the upuulit %26amp; get taurus or sable parts, they should blot right on.
