Land Rover air suspension.?

Can I change just one airspring on my Discovery or do they have to be done in pairs.

Also, how much does it cost to change it to normal springs and is it worth it?Land Rover air suspension.?
You can just change one with no adverse effect. Air springs on Disco's are not like coils, they don't weaken or deteriorate, they either work or they don't.

With regards converting to coils, the conversion set is about 拢85.00 but the car has to be put on Rovercom to tell the ECU the air springs have been disconnected. The total cost to have it done is about 拢200.

I would only give carefull consideration though if the compressor had gone (about 拢250), not the springs. Air suspension is generally only fitted to the 7 seater, coils may not be able to cope with the extra passenger weight.Land Rover air suspension.?
i'm not sure on price.

but chaning to springs is well worth it, if more than one has gone.

i've heard you should change 2...

however, i know of people that have just done the 1, and it's been fine.........untill the others start going lol
Before you go too far check its not the valve for the airbag. if you are changing from air to coils you need to do it in pairs. As someone said it will register a fault if you do change but it is something you can live with as it can be a big saving.
