How do you put an Aspect halogen bulb unit back into a bathroom ceiling?

We tried changing a light bulb and pulled the whole unit through the ceiling.We managed to change the bulb but due to the springs we cant push the unit back through the hole.Do we have to take the unit apart to push it through the ceiling from the roof space-and if so how do we take the unit apart.How do you put an Aspect halogen bulb unit back into a bathroom ceiling?

No you dont have to take the light unit apart.

Its difficult to explain how to do it but you should try .....



Look at the light unit and imagine its got to go into the hole in the ceiling - move the springs either up or down until you can work out how it will go into the hole - the springs work like a toggle, you should be able to push the light unit into the hole so that half the spring is in the hole and half is out - you then put a little pressure on the light and as the front of the spring goes in the back of it toggles (clips) down holding the light ... either that or ask a neighbour
