I understand I will need a spring compressor other than that...anything else I should know?How hard is it to change struts with a friend?
depends on vehicle . Get a good repair manual for year and make of car and scope it out . Also most parts stores offer rental tools for the job . On some it is not just a ';spring compressor'; .How hard is it to change struts with a friend?
if you or your friend have never replaced struts it it advisable to find a friend who has done it before. it is not too difficult but having someone there who has done it before will help greatly.
