Tannin suggestions ?

i am real pale, and graduation is coming up ( its not quite spring yet, just changing) but i would like to know how to get a perfect tan - WITHOUT burning . i dont really tan much , usually i just burn. and it really sucks. any suggestions ? and how long should i lay in the sun so i dont get burnt?Tannin suggestions ?
I'm also very pale with light blue eyes and blond hair. I burn easily, and tan slowly.

There are some very good, low cost, self tanning products that work gradually to give you a natural looking tan without turning your skin ';orange';. I use Jergen's Natural Glow, as my regular moisturizer, about every other day.

The self tanners used with some of the mineral bronzers, give a very healthy looking natural glow.

The website below lists the 5 top self tanning products, however, I've found the spray tanners to require a lot of cleanup from the over-spray (spray that misses your body).

if you want a tanning bed start out no more then 5 minutes and use a spf of about 4. do that for a couple of weeks and see what happens.
Go tanning every other day and start out going for about 4 minutes and every time you go add another minute. If you get a little burnt it should turn into a tan quick. Also use tanning lotion it will stop you from burning as bad.
use a self tanner, such as the jergens gradual tan lotion- no sun damage/premature aging!
self tanner from neutrogena or jergens
