How to make a homemade Nerf Gun?

I was wondering how to make a homemade nerf gun out of PVC tubing. I would like to use a spring mechanism, but I might change my mind if I could get much more power out of something else. (I do not want to have to use batteries or other materials I will have to replenish)How to make a homemade Nerf Gun?
The best instructions that I have seen online for a home made Nerf Gun are available at: http://www.instructables.com/id/home-madHow to make a homemade Nerf Gun?

there are some designs you can look at, you are probably going to want to make a pump gun, would probably be easiest and most powerful.

that is very easy one to make, if you want it really powerful, put on a 2 leter bottle instead of waterbottle, and make sure to get a good fitting barrel, 1/2 in cpvc or 1/2 in petg fit nerf darts good, make sure to make it like at least a foot long too

  • How to politely ask for a dorm change?

I'm a freshman spring admit, and the housing department gave me housing in a hall specifically for upper division students/ junior transfers. Whats a polite %26amp; convincing way to ask them to change my room assignment? How to politely ask for a dorm change?
Why not give the residence hall a shot before being intimidated? You may form friendship with upperclassmen that will be to your benefit in the long run. I also find that older students tend to be less crazy and noisy. If you try it and still aren't comfortable, just talk to the housing department and ask if you can be switched to a freshman community because you are uncomfortable. They're usually very accommodating. How to politely ask for a dorm change?
Start wit what Koq N said, n if they require further explanation, tell them u wld feel more comfortable in a dorm, hall, whatever wit a roommate/dormmates that u wld have more in common wit. U feel that u wld b able 2 succeed academically if ur able 2 get 2 know ur potential classmates on a personal level. Upper classmen r busy working wit other upper classmen on their own classes, u need 2 b wit ppl u can work wit on ur classes.

Taking Driver's Test, Is the mall busy here in Palm Springs& how do I drive safely in high winds?

I was told the examiner will take you through the mall parking lot. Is it busy at 9:30 in the morning? What do I do if there's a sand storm... like I've seen here on Gene Autry trail? What if a tree is blown over in the road or if there's a tumble weed in the way and I can't change lanes to avoid it?Taking Driver's Test, Is the mall busy here in Palm Springs%26amp; how do I drive safely in high winds?
Very unusual to go through a mall parking lot since it is private property...Most road tests are conducted on 'canned' (pre-planned) routes that have the most diverse traffic conditions...This allows the examiner to see how the applicant (you) handles different situations...Turn the headlight on if in a parking structure and take it real slow...Follow a road test in progress and see where they go.

Hopefully, road tests are suspended during sandstorms...Check with the local DMV office...Dust storms reduce visibility - treat as fog...If a fallen tree is in your path, the examiner should give you directions...Tumbleweeds are a nuisance...Slow down and stay in your lane...Hit them if you have to...If too many, pull over to a sheltered area and wait them out.

All the best.Taking Driver's Test, Is the mall busy here in Palm Springs%26amp; how do I drive safely in high winds?
    In high winds slow down
drive slow and pay attention but mostly just relax.
Then you stop and wait until traffic is clear to drive around it. Here's how it works: You're driving along and you see something in the road a couple of hundred feet away. You make a legal lane change as soon as it's safe and go around the obstacle. No need to panic. It happens all the time.

    Land Rover air suspension.?

Can I change just one airspring on my Discovery or do they have to be done in pairs.

Also, how much does it cost to change it to normal springs and is it worth it?Land Rover air suspension.?
You can just change one with no adverse effect. Air springs on Disco's are not like coils, they don't weaken or deteriorate, they either work or they don't.

With regards converting to coils, the conversion set is about 拢85.00 but the car has to be put on Rovercom to tell the ECU the air springs have been disconnected. The total cost to have it done is about 拢200.

I would only give carefull consideration though if the compressor had gone (about 拢250), not the springs. Air suspension is generally only fitted to the 7 seater, coils may not be able to cope with the extra passenger weight.Land Rover air suspension.?
    i'm not sure on price.

but chaning to springs is well worth it, if more than one has gone.

i've heard you should change 2...

however, i know of people that have just done the 1, and it's been fine.........untill the others start going lol
Before you go too far check its not the valve for the airbag. if you are changing from air to coils you need to do it in pairs. As someone said it will register a fault if you do change but it is something you can live with as it can be a big saving.

Waves transfering from one medium to another?

For a lab we did, we connected a slinky and a coil spring together so there would be a change in medium. Then, we sent pulses and waves down each spring and observed how the wave changed as it passes from one medium into the other. Here is the question that was asked after:

Each time a wave reaches the boundary between the two springs it is______(partially, totally) reflected and

    ______(partially, totally) transmitted.

Thanks!Waves transfering from one medium to another?
    both shud be partially

How often do you change Spark Plugs in your boat?

I have a 2003 Ebbtide Campoine 18.5' Mercruiser 4.3 V6 Alpha one. I just pulled it out of storage started doing the normal routine of cleaning and mechanical upkeep. Gear lube and Oil has been changed before storage (everything up to par) my question is regarding the spark plugs...

When should you change them? Is 3 years too soon? (I'll pull one out tonight and look for corrosion, etc).

Also any other spring time engine recommendations for a 4 year old boat? How often do you change Spark Plugs in your boat?
When is the last time you changed your water pump impeller . if you cant remember you maybe due. Real important they get weak with age and take a set when sittng to long and become weak.

If you pull your plugs and the white insulator around the center electrode is light brown they are good . A correct burning plug thats what color it should be Be sure to check all the bellows behind the drives bellhousing and look for drycracking between the webs. if you see any you need it changed. How often do you change Spark Plugs in your boat?
As you mentioned, just inspect them. If, the Anode/Electrode not look badly worn they probably OK for another season.

I not have a boat now and am looking, but, the last I had, I kept year round in a slip. Summer it was beached at the camp area and used most everyday. I usually changed plugs in it every summer. It probably got more use than a car.

I tried to find some pictures, many manuals show different plug wear. It a personal preference, but, I do use a little Anti-Seize on my Plugs.
You fire up on the old spark plugs from the season before, the motor should have been ';fogged'; before it was winterized, burn the old oil out of the motor at start up (IT SMOKES), THEN replace the spark plugs, why foul up ';NEW'; plugs ? they should be changed every spring, changing over to ';NEW'; spark plugs makes a world of difference on an outboard motor, don't forget, it burns ';MIX';, not straight gasoline like a car (if it's a 2 stroke outboard), so they get dirtier faster than a car's spark plugs.
I change them at least every 100 hours and clean them at least once a year.
Just do it every year when it comes out of storage, they are cheap.

How much would it cost to replace the rear coil springs on my 97 ES 300?

The car's not sagging, but it bottoms out when there are 3 adults in the rear - which is rare, but not rare enough that I shouldn't get the work done. How much should it cost to have the rear coil springs replaced? And, do I HAVE TO replace the struts at the same time, or can I get away with not changing that too?How much would it cost to replace the rear coil springs on my 97 ES 300?
I'm not too sure about the rest of the question, but if your doing the springs, you might as well do the struts. Generic ones, if they'll fit your lexus, are cheap, and changing them takes little extra time if the springs are already off.
