What dose changing the spring in your paintball gun do?

I know that putting in a stronger spring brings up the velocity but whats the whole deal with low pressure and ect im new in the sport and i am just trying to understand how the guns work as far as the expansion chamber springs and bolts. What dose changing the spring in your paintball gun do?
You are correct, changing springs does alter velocity in some guns. Lower pressure have more to do the valve assembly and what pressure it operates at. lower pressure markers are more efficient, they have less kick and are believed to have less where on internal parts. Most low pressure guns will run in the area of 180-300 psi. Most times the velocity on these guns is changed by adjusted the regulator on the marker.
